TV gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh has made a poignant confession about what will appear in his obituary. The 76-year-old presenter worries he may "die at a relatively young age" following his father's sudden passing at just 62, and now relies on daily medication to monitor his wellbeing.

He said: "The thing is, the men in my family have had a tendency to die from heart disease at a relatively young age. My dad, for instance, died suddenly in 1986 from a heart attack, aged just 62.
