Homeowners embrace bold 'Dopamine Décor' to combat winter blues

One in four property owners is revitalising their homes with a touch of 'dopamine décor' to lift their mood before the winter period arrives. Research involving 2,000 homeowning adults revealed that 57 per cent consider their interior styling has a direct impact on their emotional wellbeing throughout the gloomier months.

Four in ten have grown weary of their monotonous white, grey and beige palettes, with the living room emerging as the favoured space for injecting some colour. Scatter cushions, eye-catching wall art and vibrant throws topped the list of mood-boosting buys. Additionally, 18 per cent are taking the plunge with patterned wallpaper for the very first time.
