14 NHS trusts at centre of investigation into maternity and newborn care - full list

Fourteen NHS trusts will be at the centre of a rapid national investigation of maternity and newborn baby care across England. The investigation, part of a review announced in June, will make recommendations to urgently improve care and safety in maternity and neonatal care.

A total of 14 hospital trusts will be looked at as part of the rapid, independent, national investigation. The full list was issued on Monday.

Baroness Amos, who will chair the review, has said it was vital that mothers and babies formed the heart of the investigation. She said their experiences would help shape the national recommendations which will be published.
