LAKEVILLE, Mass. (WPRI) — A 22-year-old man is facing charges after crashing into a home in Lakeville early Sunday morning.

Crews responding to the scene on Precinct Street around 3:45 a.m. found the car had hit the front of the house.

The only person inside the home was not hurt, according to officials, and the two people in the car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver, identified as Russell Nietlich, of Middleboro, has been charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury, leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage, speeding, and a marked lanes violation.

He is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
