Macomb County’s top criminal lawyer has voluntarily dismissed the remainder of his lawsuit against the county’s chief civil lawyer.

Macomb Circuit Court Judge James Maceroni dismissed the final two counts of the lawsuit against county Corporation Counsel John Schapka last month upon the request of the plaintiff, county Prosecutor Peter Lucido, who said he requested them because he sought relief with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission.
