The City of Belleville is seeking public feedback as it reviews its Short-Term Accommodation By-law. Officials want to ensure the by-law’s relevance and effectiveness. Currently STA operators must obtain a licence annually and, among other rules, there must be a minimum distance of 100 metres between STAs in the City, with the exception of the downtown area. The city is asking for input on the current regulations from STA operators, businesses and community members. Members of the public are invited to provide their input by taking the STA By-law Review Survey on the city’s website before October 1.

Feedback collected will be compiled, presented to the by-law review committee and considered in the redevelopment of the by-law. For more information, visit Belleville.ca/BylawRevi
