Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has debuted a gorgeous 'change', and even ended up giving herself a surprise.

The actress is best known for playing Maria Windass - nee Sutherland and Connor - in the ITV soap having made her debut back in 2000 after beating Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh and Hear'Say star Suzanne Shaw to land the role.

Taking to social media over the weekened, Samia revealed she'd decided to undergo a slight makeover what it came to her tressess as she headed to the hair salon.

Sharing a selfie from the hot seat, the soap star shared with her Instagram followers: "Had a bit of a hair change today. The fabulous @calumtierney waved his magic wand (comb) once more... Pics on the way."
