As the High Holy Days approach, millions of Jews around the globe are preparing to celebrate their faith through food and fun activities.

But with antisemitism on the rise and hate crimes against Jewish people becoming more prevalent, it is also a crucial time of year for those congregating to know how to keep themselves and their loved ones safe as they observe the season. To explore those needs and help inform the community, the Secure Community Network hosted the first session of its “High Holidays Safety & Security Webinar Series” on Aug. 14 with “BeAware: An Introduction to Situational Awareness.”
