LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Football is set to open conference play this weekend as #21 Michigan comes to Lincoln for what will be the biggest test thus far of the 2025 season for Matt Rhule and his squad.
The Huskers come out of their non-conference play with a 3-0 record and wins over Cincinnati, Akron, and Houston Christian. The Husker offense has put up gaudy numbers - especially over the last 2 weeks - averaging nearly 49 points per game (9th in FBS), 545 yards per game (10th in FBS), and 366 passing yards per game (5th in FBS). The defense has been just as good - allowing only 202 yards per game (6th in FBS) and 8 points per game (7th in FBS).
