Stephen Graham has moved fans to tears following his heartfelt address at this year's Emmy Awards.

The 77th annual ceremony unfolded on Sunday evening (14th September) at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

It proved to be a triumphant evening for Graham's acclaimed Netflix series Adolescence, which secured a remarkable 13 nominations.

The programme not only claimed the prize for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and best director in the same category for Philip Barantini, but three of its performers also departed with accolades.

Graham secured the gong for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie, whilst his 15 year old colleague Owen Cooper and The Crown's Erin Doherty triumphed for their supporting roles, reports the Mirror . READ MORE: 'Genius'
