Lexington police are investigating an alleged vandalism on the town's Battle Green.
The flag on the Green had been lowered to honor the memory of Charlie Kirk; however on Saturday, someone raised the flag back to full staff. Latest Forecast

Officials said someone cut the flag's rope, added more rope and hoisted it back to the top of the pole. Crews have since re-lowered the flag.
The incident remains under investigation.
The Battle Green is a National Historic Landmark, and marks the site where the opening shots of the Battles of Lexington and Concord were fired in 1775.
