On a historic night at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, Terence “Bud” Crawford cemented his legacy as one of boxing’s all-time greats by defeating Canelo Alvarez . With the victory, he also became the first male boxer in history to win undisputed titles in three separate weight classes.

The sold-out crowd witnessed the Omaha, Nebraska, native climb two divisions to face the larger and heavily favored Alvarez—and outclass him over 12 brilliant rounds.

The judges scored the bout 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113 in Crawford’s favor, though many fans and analysts felt the margin should have been wider.
