It’s been almost three years since the Detroit Lions have lost back-to-back games, since they snapped a five-game losing streak in late October of 2022.

Since the start of last season, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are the only other team to not lose two straight in the same season. The Eagles, who've beaten the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs by a combined seven points to start 2-0 this year, haven’t lost back-to-back games since they fell apart in the second half of the 2023 season, when Matt Patricia was their defensive coordinator.
