BRUNSWICK, Ohio (WJW) -- Brunswick police have charged a mother with a felony, after an Amber Alert was issued for her 7-year-old son on Sunday night.
Authorities on Sunday night were searching for 7-year-old Ty’Juan Baymon, who had been last seen with his mother, 32-year-old Tiarika Baymon, headed toward Pennsylvania.
Brunswick police Lt. Christopher Spencer on Monday told FOX 8 News that Tiarika Baymon was charged with a felony count of child endangering and that more charges are likely "as the investigation progresses."
The alert was issued at about 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, but canceled soon after.
Ty'Juan Baymon is now at a hospital in Pennsylvania for evaluation, Spencer said.
