PEND OREILLE COUNTY, Wash. – An altercation between two people on September 12 near the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Stohr Road led to one woman being shot, according to the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Office.
The other woman was arrested for assault in the first degree.
The sheriff’s office said they received reports from neighbors of two women arguing, followed by gunshots at around 5:50 p.m.
When deputies arrived, they found a 40-yearold woman who was bleeding, and said she’d been shot by her friend. She was transported to the hospital by Life Flight.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
