INDIANA – A local fellowship program has received a generous grant from the Herbert Simon Family Foundation to support its efforts in policy change. The funding will provide two fellowships for individuals focused on addressing basic needs and environmental justice issues.
Additionally, thanks to the Pritzker Children’s Initiative, a third fellowship is being explicitly offered to new parents of children between the ages of 0 and 3, with a focus on the needs of young families.
The paid, ten-month fellowships are designed for applicants who have direct experience with financial hardship. Fellows will work closely with Institute staff and network partners, gaining hands-on experience in research and policy advocacy.
