Bill Maher admitted that he might “drink a little bit more than usual” during his latest Club Random podcast episode because he was taping on the day of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
“This is a s--t day, because a guy who sat there, Charlie Kirk, got shot today, and I can’t stop thinking about it,” Maher said, as his guest, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan chimed in, “Neither can I.”
“And if you’re on the other side of the political divide and you don’t care because the wrong team’s guy got shot, f--- you,” Maher added. “You’re what’s wrong with this country!”
