FOXBOROUGH - Mike Vrabel provided a bit of an update on defensive coordinator Terrell Williams, who took leave from the team last week for undisclosed health reasons.
It appears Williams will be back with the team this week, but it’s unclear if he’ll assume his duties and run the defense for the team’s Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Foxborough.
“I think Terrell is in good spirits. Appreciate [the media] asking. Terrell will be around,” Vrabel said. “I don’t quite fully know in what capacity, but he will be around and involved, so we’ll continue to just make sure there is a good plan for everything that happens, just like we always have been.”
