After 64 MLS matches as coach of the New England Revolution, Caleb Porter has parted ways with the club.
A two-time MLS Cup Champion in Portland and Columbus, Porter’s squad struggled during his two seasons in charge. After posting double digit wins in 10 out of 11 seasons from 2013 to 2023, with the lone exception being the shortened 2020 season, the Revs won just 17 matches under Porter.
Overall, Porter went 17-35-12 with a -42 goal differential in MLS play over the last two seasons.
In a position to make the playoffs at midseason, New England faltered in the summer months, posting just two victories in a 15-match stretch. The most recent results, a loss to Chicago and a draw with Toronto essentially eliminated New England from playoff contention.
