Traffic is backed up for miles on the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Northeast Extension after a crash involving an SUV.

The incident occurred Monday shortly before 1:30 p.m. on I-276 west at I-476 north in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County. Footage from NBC10 showed an SUV with a hole in the windshield and traffic backed up for miles in both directions.

Officials have not yet revealed what led to the crash or if anyone was seriously injured.
