MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people died in a crash that happened last week on Madison’s east side, police said Monday.

A vehicle from a local car dealership out for a test drive around 3:25 p.m. Friday struck a 53-year-old woman’s vehicle as she was driving west on Commercial Avenue and turning left into a parking lot, Madison Police Department said.

Police stated the two people in the first vehicle, ages 65 and 64, both died after the crash.

MPD said because of this crash, a second crash happened involving two other vehicles. One driver was hurt, and is expected to be OK. The other driver was not hurt.

MPD reported the 53-year-old woman is cooperating with investigators and was released after the initial crash investigation.
