East Cleveland, Ohio – A murder suspect’s bond was set at $1 million on Monday after U.S. Marshals arrested him on Friday.
Marshals arrested the 43-year-old suspect wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder and felonious assault, according to a release.
Marshals said on June 20, officers responded to an address in the 1300 block of E. 117th Street for two men who had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found a 55-year-old with a gunshot wound to the stomach with non-life-threatening injuries, and 55-year-old Lavelle Scales, who was pronounced dead at the hospital due to gunshot wounds.
Verdine Glover was later identified as the suspect in this deadly incident, and warrants were issued for his arrest.
