STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In April, a Staten Island man was accused of driving his car into his neighbor’s barbecue in New Brighton, in what prosecutors alleged to be a hate crime.

On Wednesday, the driver was found unfit to face the charges against him in state Supreme Court, St. George, court records show.
