CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio -- Before the Chagrin Falls vs. Crestwood volleyball match on Sept. 11, senior Gigi Calabrese and junior Sadie Conrad were recognized for having 500 kills and 500 digs, respectively -- a rare volleyball feat in Tiger history.

According to their coach, Kelly Holtz, it is the first time in her six years as the team’s coach that a player has reached one of these milestones.

One of the key contributing factors to Gigi and Sadie achieving the 500 digs and kills has been the fact that they both have been on the varsity squad since their freshman year.

Holtz describes Sadie as a “ball of energy” who is the team’s libero and digs the opponents’ attacks.

According to Holtz, Gigi is an outside hitter who provides power and depth for the Tigers.
