Emmerdale fans believe they've exposed a soap legend's hidden illness, and it's bad news for the Dingles.

Viewers of the ITV drama will know that Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) has endured a turbulent period, whilst continuing to support his fiancée Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

Chas's son Aaron (Danny Miller) and his evil spouse, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), were taken to hospital last week after John purposefully pushed them over a cliff edge. The drama unfolded moments after Aaron discovered the villain's string of crimes.

Aaron's former flame, Robert (Ryan Hawley), who is also John's half-sibling, soon found himself detained on charges of attempted murder, with nobody accepting his version of events.
