Former NYPD Blue star Kim Delaney was accused of “slurring” her words and having “unsteady” balance while walking after a 2022 car crash, according to a witness who detailed what she saw in a new court filing, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

Delaney, 63, stands accused of a hit-and-run on November 6, 2022. The actress allegedly crashed into a man named Dzhamal Badalov. Delaney was driving a black Mercedes and Badalov was on a motorcycle. Badalov sued Delaney for unspecified damages. She denied all allegations of wrongdoing.

A trial date has been set for January 12, 2026, in the lawsuit. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office allowed Delaney to enter a diversion program in connection with the incident, according to Radar Online. She was ordered to perform community service and complete
