LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Two people are injured after a shooting at an apartment building in Old Louisville.

According to Louisville Metro police, the shooting happened around 2:38 p.m. in 800 block of S. 4 th Street not far from Spalding University.

Police said when they arrived to the 800 Tower Apartments, they found two men -- one inside and one outside -- suffering from gunshot wounds.

Neighbors told WLKY they heard several shots fired.

"I heard about six loud pops, and I thought it was fireworks at first. And then I ran out and got, took my iPad and started taking video. And I saw one guy shot in the stomach. It looked like one guy was trying to help him in his car, and he couldn't do it. And he kept trying to get him to stand up," one witness said. "And then when he realized he could
