KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Pat McAfee of College GameDay has made good on his promise to donate $100,000 to the Pat Summitt Foundation, the group announced Monday.

McAfee pledged to donate as part of a joint effort with GameDay and the Pat McAfee show shortly before hosting his regular kicking competition on the majorly popular ESPN show, which visited UT campus Saturday.

“We are so thankful for Pat McAfee’s generosity, and we were excited that Honorary PSF Advisory Board Co-Chair Candace Parker was a part of College GameDay,” said Executive Director Morgan Vance. “This commitment will make a positive difference, helping advance programs like Pat’s Gameplan, a free web-based program to support the roughly 11 million Americans serving as a primary caregiver for a loved with Alzheimer’s dis
