Drake Maye has plenty of support in the New England Patriots locker room after Sunday’s strong showing.
Maye led New England to a 33-27 win over the Miami Dolphins by completing 19 of 23 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns. The second-year quarterback posted the best QBR (77.6) of his NFL career and added a rushing touchdown for good measure on the road.
Patriots teammates praised Maye after the Week 2 victory, courtesy of MassLive’s Mark Daniels . Offensive lineman Morgan Moses, who joined the organization for his 12th NFL season, celebrated the 23-year-old for taking ownership of the team.
“You’ve got a guy, and he’s looking and calling the plays. You’re looking at him in his eyes and he’s speaking with confidence and enthusiasm,” Moses said. “You know plays are going to work.
