World Atlas has dubbed the three mid-Hudson Valley spots among New York's "fairy-tale small towns."

The list included eight towns across New York that have taken the crown for most fablelike.

World Atlas crowned Beacon, Kingston and New Paltz with the charming title, alongside five other municipalities across New York.

Nearby Village of Cold Spring, as well as the Village of Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands region, the Village of Aurora in the Finger Lakes region, the Town of Lake George within the Adirondack Mountains, and the City of Saratoga Springs situated in the Capital Region, also made the list.
