HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - More than 40 Honolulu police officers clocked enough overtime to double their salaries last year, according to an article by Honolulu Civil Beat.

Civil Beat said Sgt. Darren Cachola, who recently retired after more than two decades on the job, accumulated over 2,400 hours of overtime during his last year of police work.

Other data obtained by Civil Beat showed that 125 officers each logged more than 1,000 hours
