The provincial negotiator in talks with the Alberta Teachers’ Association has filed a complaint with the Alberta Labour Relations Board, accusing the union of misleading the public.
In a release Monday afternoon, Finance Minister Nate Horner said a document provided to ATA members “intentionally misinforms the public, parents and students.”
“The document falsely claims that the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) does not have the mandate to ‘negotiate on important issues such as class complexity, class size, support for students,’ ” Horner said in a statement
