A delivery driver allegedly sexually assaulted a person at the University of Connecticut in Storrs on Saturday.

Police said a DoorDash delivery driver lured the victim into their car while making a delivery in the Hilltop Apartments parking lot around 5:45 p.m.

The suspect, described as a man around 30 years old, began assaulting the victim as soon as they got into the car.

The victim, who was not identified, was able to exit the car and get to safety while the suspect fled the scene in a 1998 gold Toyota Camry.

The school said police had identified a suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
