Ann Arbor — As though he hadn’t made himself perfectly clear after Michigan’s win against Central Michigan, Biff Poggi, the Wolverines’ acting head coach, reiterated his point in a new way.
Poggi, filling in for head coach Sherrone Moore during a two-game school-imposed suspension stemming from an NCAA investigation into an illegal scouting scheme, directed the team in its 63-3 win over CMU this past weekend. Poggi will be on the sideline coaching the No. 21 Wolverines (2-1) at unbeaten Nebraska on Saturday before Moore returns from suspension at 11:59 p.m. that night.
