LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) - The Longview Fire Department is currently investigating a potential arson case after a Houston Street home was burned in a fire on Saturday.
Longview Fire Department firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire at around 9:35 a.m. on Saturday in the 100 block of Houston Street.
When the firefighters arrived at the home, they found heavy smoke and flames coming out of the front of the house. The fire was brought under control after $80,000 in damage was done to the home.
Three occupants who lived at the home were displaced by the fire and one firefighter sustained minor injuries while fighting the fire. The Longview Fire Department said they're currently investigating the fire as an arson case.
