NEW ORLEANS —

Two people have been arrested after a narcotics investigation with Troop NOLA that spanned across New Orleans and Slidell.

According to Louisiana State Police, multiple search warrants led to the recovery of a stolen firearm, nearly $30,000, almost 14 pounds of marijuana, over 300 grams of THC vape oil, and numerous items connected to narcotics and financial crimes. Advertisement

Raymond Smith Jr., 22, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, intent to distribute THC, conspiracy to commit distribution of schedule I, conspiracy to commit distribution of schedule II, identity theft, two counts of bank fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud, forgery, and two counts access device fraud.
