A warm start to the week leads into more shower and thunderstorm chances through the middle of the week

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - It was a warm and beautiful day today with temperatures back in the mid to upper 80’s and plenty of sunshine. We’ll see temperatures tonight fall back into the upper 50’s and low 60’s. Clear skies persist through the night as winds stay fairly light around 5 to 10 mph. We start to see our cold front approach from the northwest tomorrow afternoon as cooler temperatures in the upper 70’s and low 80’s are expected to the northwest. Elsewhere temperatures are expected to warm back into the mid to upper 80’s. Mostly clear skies will dominate most of the day, but cloud cover will build in from the west as the cold front approaches.
