Thomas Müller doesn’t want the Vancouver Whitecaps resting on their laurels, regardless of how comfy they may be right now.
“What was on Saturday? I have already forgotten to be honest,” Müller deadpanned with the media Monday when asked about how he sees his the team going into Tuesday’s (7 p.m.) Canadian championship semifinal against Forge FC at B.C. Place coming off the weekend’s 7-0 drubbing of the visiting Philadelphia Union in a MLS regular season game.
“In my sports life, it’s always been you have the game, you’re sad or you’re celebrating — depending on the result — in the evening and maybe the day after, but the day after (that) the focus is the next one. It doesn’t matter if the result is crazy good like last time. We have go for the next one.”
