CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Nearly two dozen vehicles were broken into during a Nelly concert Sunday night in Charlotte, according to police records .
The suspect(s) reportedly got away with cash, credit cards, and guns. As of this writing, there’s no word on any arrests.
What happened
The break-ins reportedly occurred on Sunday, Sept. 14, during a concert at PNC Music Pavilion off Interstate 485 in northeast Charlotte.
Records showed that at least 21 people reported their cars were broken into between 7 and 11 p.m. on Sunday. That time frame was when Nelly and Ja Rule were performing.
Multiple wallets, debit cards, and guns were reportedly taken. Other people said that parts of their car were damaged, but no items had been taken.
