Monday, Sept. 15 is the deadline for recipients of the Arizona Commission on the Arts grantees to submit final reports for their shares of the collective total of more than $2.5 million.

Six Chandler-area organizations qualified for about $40,000 in grants this year.

The Chandler Center for the Arts led the way with a $16,000 Creative Capacity Grant.

The Chandler Children's Choir got $7,000 in the Commission's fiscal 2026 grant cycle in the form of a Creative Capacity Grant.

The Southwest Youth Ballet Theatre grabbed the third Creative Capacity Grant awarded to a Chandler organization, for about $3,900.

The 5th Annual Pacific Islands Festival was awarded a $5,000 Festival Grant from the commission.
