AUBURN — As it pertains to this week, Hugh Freeze has walked in Jackson Arnold 's shoes.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, Arnold's reuniting with his former program in No. 25 Auburn football 's face-off with No. 12 Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. Arnold, who spent the last two seasons with the Sooners , will helm the Tigers' offense in an SEC-opener that's filled with storylines and gives Auburn its biggest test yet.

"The good thing is I've had personal experience with that," Freeze said Monday, Sept. 15. "I've had to go back to a place that I enjoyed coaching, won some games, and had to go back in there and take another team in and play."

That was four years ago, when Freeze led Liberty into Oxford, Mississippi, for an eventual 27-14 loss to Ole Miss, where Freeze was the head coach
