Throughout most of the world in the 1970s, and then into the early 1980s, ABBA were a pretty big deal, and their music’s never really gone away, even though most ABBA albums came out between 1973 and 1981 . There’s only one that came out after this period, in 2021, of all years, but the best songs the band put out endure, with the stage musical (and later movie) Mamma Mia! adding to that for sure. The four primary members were Anni-Frid Lyngstad , Benny Andersson , Björn Ulvaeus , and Agnetha Fältskog , and if you take the first letter of all their first names and put them in that same order...
