WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - A beloved K9 who served the Warrick County community has passed away.

The agency says K9 Jinx had recently been experiencing health issues and underwent a surgical procedure, which he did not survive.

“Jinx will be deeply missed by his partner Deputy Wester, the entire Sheriff’s Office and the community he served,” said the sheriff’s office on social media.

Officials say Jinx served alongside his partner Deputy Wester since 2023.
