Embattled regional carrier Rex Airlines has apologised to a passenger left stranded at Perth Airport for more than six hours without help or a wheelchair.
Albany woman Debby Butler had been in Perth to celebrate her son's wedding.
But Ms Butler says she was effectively left to fend for herself by Rex after the airline delayed her flight home from midday to 6pm on Sunday.
Ms Butler requires the use of a wheelchair to get around due to a hip issue, for which she is awaiting surgery.
She was forced to wait unattended without access to food, water or a bathroom during the six-hour wait, eventually having to ask other passengers for help.
