FOXBOROUGH - Mike Vrabel says he’s not ready to move on from Andy Borregales.

The rookie kicker missed a 40-yard attempt in the Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, and didn’t connect on two extra points in Sunday’s 33-27 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Borregales did make a clutch 53-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter, with 1:47 remaining, which may have saved his job.

Vrabel continues to back the kicker - awarding him a game ball - saying he has “full confidence” in Borregales, who was taken in the sixth round.
