PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is dead after police say he was shot by his stepson in Peoria Sunday night.

Zachary Parker, 25, is accused of shooting and killing 64-year-old Casey Orlowski.

Around 10 p.m., police responded to a home on Hatfield Road, near 83rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road , after Orlowski called 911 to report that his stepson had pointed a gun at him and his wife multiple times. He also told dispatchers that he had locked himself in a bedroom and didn’t know where his wife or stepson was.

As police were en route, dispatchers received a second 911 call from Orlowski’s wife, who said she was able to escape and run to a neighbor’s home.
