SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Lynn Knutson has an assortment of health issues, all stemming from a freak accident a few years ago when she was working at a Scottsdale grocery store.

Knutson got hit in the head while helping a customer bring groceries to their car.

“I had headaches, then my speech started to slur,“ said Knutson. ”So much so that I could barely get words out. Then when I’d try to walk, I’d be falling like this.”

She doesn’t remember much, but says the woman she was helping accidentally dropped the back hatch of her SUV on top of her head, causing a severe brain injury. That woman drove off and hasn’t been seen since.

“People were like, oh, did you go unconscious?” said Knutson. “I don’t know. Did you get off the ground? I don’t know. I have no memory of that.”
