The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking a proposed $3.1 million in fines against the Boeing Co. after the agency found "hundreds" of safety violations at a Boeing factory in Washington and at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita.
The safety violations occurred between September 2023 and February 2024, the FAA said Friday. The issues were flagged on the 737 production lines at Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE: SPR) and the Boeing factory in Renton, Washington.
