Kansas’ Trooper Ben, who legally took his title as his name, announces retirement

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Trooper Ben Gardner , the infamous Kansas Highway Patrol trooper known for his social media adventures on the road, announced his retirement from the agency on Monday.

Gardner, who legally changed his name in 2023 to reflect his profession, spread the news on Facebook Monday evening.
