CHARLOTTE, NC - According to reports from within the church, Southpoint Baptist of Charlotte plans to include a revolutionary women's Bible study class in their fall curriculum that will study an actual book of the Bible, bucking the deeply ingrained tradition of using women's Bible studies to collectively read through a modern book on Christian living.
A signup at the church website Wednesday listed several study and small group offerings, including a video series by Beth Moore, a class titled "Mothering Through the Storm," and a study of Priscilla Shirer's book Fervent . Near the bottom of the page, however, women had the option to join a study on the book of Galatians, Paul's letter in the New Testament of God's inerrant, inspired Word, which sources confirmed is living and active,
